#46 invalid Not the greatest little program. anonymous anonymous
Description

in todays world of developers, any program no matte how big or small, should be simple to deploy. If you want people to use email2 Trac, how distributing a windows installer, and a Linux RPM file which will make installing the program and all its dependencies trivial.

its seems easier to build my own version of a program that does the same thing, than to get yours working.

and Ive seen your source code, there is not much there so, it should not be complicated to get something which such few lines of code to work.

so, in the future, why don't you create a windows installer, and the Linux, Mac equivalent to get this to work with a click and filling in a few lines of text.

the installer should take care of all the rest, if you need fetchmail and its not install, let the installer you provide install it and configure it properly.

or is there something that does this already?

#285 fixed Old Debian bugs bas debacle@…
Description
Hi,

after a long time of inactivity on the Debian package for
email2trac, I'm planning now an upload of the current version
2.4.5. There are two bugs open, which I have patched on my
production server, but I was never confident, that my patches
are correct, nor do I know whether they are necessary for the
current version. Could you maybe take a look at them?

 1. Error on wrongly encoded e-mail
    http://bugs.debian.org/593613
 2. Support for X-Spam-Flag/-Result
    http://bugs.debian.org/644916

Thanks in advance!

Cheers
#150 fixed One email address per project bas julio.martinez@…
Description

Hello,

Thanks for this great project, it is very useful for us.

I have various Trac projects working well on the same box and I would like to use a different email address per project. up until now we have only need to use email2trac in one project, is it possible to use for another one?

As I said before /etc/email2trac.conf is setup and happily working for the "trac-systems" and I would like to add "trac-sdlc" (the last 5 lines) but no luck.

These are the config files

Thank you.
