#52 | fixed | email notifications | bas | matthew@… |
Description |
My apologies if this is a can't find the TFM question, but I am having some difficulties with email2trac and Email notifications. I have searched the sara trac for answers but have not found an answer to my problem. I've successfully installed email2trac 0.13 and am using Trac 0.10.4. I am able to submit and respond to trac tickets. Tickets are added to trac, and I can update existing tickets via Email, however Email notifications are not sent to the owner, reporter or updater. Notifications do work through the trac website however. When a new ticket is created through email2trac, or when a ticket is updated through email2trac, should the smtp_always_cc or owner/reporter/updater addresses be updated? If so could you point me in the direction of what to look for in trouble shooting this? Setting debugging and logging levels in the trac logs themselves yield no clues and the system logs show no errors from email2trac itself. If not, please consider this a request for enhancement for new tickets and updates to behave the same as trac web interface with regards to [notification]. Thanks! Matthew |

#24 | fixed | "ImportError: No module named syslog" on Windows | bas | michael.th@… |
Description |
Running email2trac.py under Windows causes the following error: ImportError: No module named syslog This happens for Python 2.4.4 as well as 2.5; according to my research the simple explanation is that there is no syslog-module for Python on Windows as there is no syslog... Attached to this ticket you will find a patch to conditionally load the syslog-module in case it is available on the current platform and to skip it otherwise. This patch is against source:/trunk/email2trac.py.in@189. |
