how to install email2trac on debian

Hello,
Can you give more detail instructions on how to install this package on
debian.

1. wget ftp://ftp.sara.nl/pub/outgoing/email2trac.tar.gz
2. tar -xzvf email2trac.tar.gz

3. Now you instruction say:
 debian/rules binary  ???? What does that mean?

./debian/rules binary
-bash: ./debian/rules: /usr/bin/make: bad interpreter: No such file or
directory

I assume that I need to compile your package, to create the debian
package then install it.

What is the command for compiling the debian package? And are there
any changes I need to make before compile/install?

aptitude install build-essential
aptitude install cdbs chrpath
dpkg-buildpackage -B

Is what is required.

then
dpkg -i email2trac_1.6.0-4_amd64.deb


I think you should put that on the installation site, or just build
it..attached "debian lenny"

The first also works, but you must install some packages for it yo work. Your instructions are better. If you want you can update the install structions with yours
