if i send mail that quotes previous email in the classic > fashion, the
quoted lines are stripped.  would be nice if you had

There are a lot of ticket requests for strip quotes/signatures. The option you propose is already implemented: 

email_quote > 	OPTIONAL, if strip_quote is set, then remove email starting with this quote char

i know what the options are, i use them.  i am saying your site is not
the way of my preference, you strip.  i send message which has quotes,
you strip, and message makes no sense.
