We are using ROCKS 5.0 as our cluster framework. For ganglia, the node names are compute-X-Y.local, but for PBS, it uses compute-X-Y. Is there a way to have jobmonarch not think that these are two different nodes? Is there something simple I could add to the jobmond.py to just tack on a .local to the node names that the jobs are running on before it gets sent to gmetad? Thanks. Jeff |

Hi every body I have some problems displaying the link(small-size cluster image) to the job list in ganglia web page.I have followed the procedure of documentation for installing Monarch and its web iterface My question is does Monarch web interface requires absolutely postgreSql in order to function or or it is only required only if you install jobarchived. Need to test Job Monarch with the upcoming Ganglia 3.1.0 release. In 3.1.0 many features are changed, including a major redesign of gmond. Gmond 3.1.0 supports python modules, although it doesn't support dynamic metric names. A possibility is to enable jobmond with a 'gmond module'-mode, which in turn still submits it's own dynamic metrics but is called by gmond. That would no longer require a daemon mode. |
