Hi, OMSA (both V5 and V6) no longer find a storage controller on my PE2850 after upgrading from Debian 4.0 to 5.0. | Description |
With kernel 2.6.26-2-686 I get "No controllers found", although mptctl is loaded and /sys is mounted. I get the same results on a 2850, both systems use the internal PERC4 controller. Omsa version is 6.0.1-8. |

omreport about prints out version 3.5.0, not 5.5.0. Same for omsa 6.0, omreport has version 3.6.0 here. Don't know if this has a special meaning, but found nothing about it and this behavior caused some trouble at our site. The version output from the official dell rpms for rhel are ok, so this has to be something related to your .deb-packages. # omreport about Product name : Information Not Available.
