Description

Hi,

thank you very much for your work on the Debian packages for OMSA. It is a shame for Dell that they do not distribute something like this themselves.

We have just bought a PE T310, and this requires version 6.2. So my question is: when do you think you will have finished work on converting version 6.2?

What would also be very interesting is how to convert the Dell RPMs yourself. Is it very complicated? Or could you give some hints / is there a tutorial planned?

Thanks again, Daniel

I tyr my best, but there is not deadline set. Dellomsa 6.2 has renamed a lot packages and there are some new ones. O shall write quick start quide how a installed it. If you have a rpm distribution you should install it on that machine an then make a tarball.

Thanks for the great packages. Can you make the scripts or procedure available that is used to create the .deb files? I'm thinking about contributing some small improvements (e.g. make the packages give less lintian warnings).
