Hello,

I tried to create a ticket, but when following the link
(https://subtrac.sara.nl/oss/newticket) I get:

Environment not found

So I send it to you directly.  The attached patch
fixes a problem with an uninitialized variable in
checkGmetricVersion().

Fixed the wiki "New ticket" link and created ticket.
