Dear sir/mam,

I can't understand how to setup default email2trac configuration.
Can you please send me example configuration file of trac.ini and
email2trac.conf?
Please help me to configure email2trac plugin.

• Which trac version?
• which os?
• which mailer do you use.

Most of the times the default email2trac is oke. You have to some experience to setup software.

I installed other plugins like traciniadmin, trac codereview etc.. and they
are working very well.

I installed email2trac then what changes required in trac.ini and
email2trac.conf file for very very basic configuration that what I can't
find.
One thing is when I copied the alias in /etc/aliases it gave me error that
alias is too long.
and also need to change in sendmail configuration file.

If you want that ticket updates. Then it is handy to change some settings in trac.ini:

else nothing has to be changed for trac.ini. A default email2trac.conf is installed. The only thing to change is the location of your trac project:

• project: /data/trac/hpcv/project/hic
