Hey I'm just in the middle of reading your docs on
https://oss.trac.sara.nl/email2trac/wiki when the server went down! Is
everything ok?

I'm curious to ask if you could recommend what to use to listen for emails
to pass to the MTA. I'm running everything in debian.

for some reason the run_email2trac wrapper is failing. the email2trac
script works with the same input if run as root.

$run_email2trac --project=dummy < dummy.eml
returns 254

Hi,

I have trac 0.11.4 installed, and our company want to simply reply to
the
trac notification email and result in add a new comment to the same
thread
in the Trac system.
After I did some research on google, I found your plugin which just
fits our
needs: email2trac

somehow after I install email2trac, replying the email will not update
comment in trac.
I guess it's because we didn't setup our own mail agent server like
sendmail
or postfix?

Here is how I install email2trac:

./configure prefix=/trac
make
make install

our project locates at /trac/sh, and the trac.ini configuration file:

the smtp_server is not owned by our company, so I did not know how to
config
it as described as
here:https://subtrac.sara.nl/oss/email2trac/wiki/Email2tracMta
